Sorry for the late post. We were competing for room on the only wi-fi in Red Lodge. Today was filled with visual wonders. We left Jackson at 8:30 am and entered Grand Tetons National Park. Unbelievably beautiful.

On the other side of the Tetons is Jackson Lake which reflects the range and doubles the grandeur.

We continued on to Yellowstone National Park and immediately saw a shy momma and baby moose pair. They were not ready for a photo shoot and disappeared into the trees. We saw many bison.

We timed it just right to see the Old Faithful Geyser with only a twenty minute wait.

After the water show, we saw many mud pots along the road. The colors are spectacular but the smell is not.

We made our way to Lower Yellowstone Falls, took some pics and had to hit the road with more than 100 miles left in the day.

It was time to make haste and leave Yellowstone for today. We had some serious climbing to do. We took the Beartooth pass to Red Lodge. This has to be one of the most spectacular roads in America. If you get a chance to experience it, do it. A definite bucket list to-do. Below is a picture from near the summit and the GPS elevation reading.

Long day. Until tomorrow, be well.
